What is Permanent Cosmetics?

For all those women who want to look beautiful throughout the day, semi-permanent makeup aka permanent cosmetics is a revolutionary treatment method.

To achieve the desired results, it involves implantation of pigments under the upper dermal layer of the skin by sterilized needles or electric pen tool, depending up on the choice of  practitioner. Since it is not a minute procedure, it requires employment of digitized equipment and contemporary tools. This technique is comparatively safe!

Permanent makeup is a cosmetic technique which employs tattoos (permanent pigmentation of the dermis) as a means of producing designs that resemble makeup, such as eyelining and other permanent enhancing colors to the skin of the face, lips, and eyelids. It is also used to produce artificial eyebrows, particularly in people who have lost them as a consequence of old age, disease, such as alopecia totalis, chemotherapy, or a genetic disturbance, and to disguise scars and white spots in the skin such as in vitiligo. It is also used to restore or enhance the breast's areola, such as after breast surgery.

Most commonly called permanent cosmetics, other names include dermapigmentation, micropigmentation, and cosmetic tattooing, the latter being most appropriate since permanent makeup is applied under sterile conditions similar to that of a tattoo.

Why opt for this procedure?
By undergoing a semi permanent makeup treatment, one can avail the following benefits:
1. Reduce time spent on routine makeup and touch-up activities
2. Enjoy a perfectly looking fresh face throughout the day
3. If you have an facial imperfection due to medical reasons, it can prove to be a great way of rectification

Where can it be used?

  • Eyes: Lashes can be enhanced by placing eyeliner along upper and lower eyelash margin. As for defining brow shape, one can ask for a treatment that renders colorist or hair stroke eyebrows.

  • Eyebrows: To enhace or define the area. It gives you an optical illusion of having created a subtle makeup that beautifully frames your Eyes.

  • Lips: Adding  to lip tint, using blended lip blush for a natural looking pout, lip liner for defining lips and adding fullness to natural contour.

  • Nipples: Enhancing color or Areola reconstruction after medical procedures (ex: cancer)

  • Scar: As a camouflage diminishing appearance
